8D/7N HerpTour! BORNEOSABAH, MALAYSIAN BORNEO
The biggest, wildest, and most adventurous trip we offer! Meeting in Kota Kinabalu city (BKI airport) the night before, we head inland for two remote locations where the herpetofauna abundance and diversity is truly mind boggling. We schedule large groups for set dates, but we can also customize a trip for 2 or more at an extra cost. This trip includes a lot of 'rough travel' in very remote locations. Lodging at our first stop is dormitory style, with an option to stay in an individual room at an added cost and if available. The next location is a jungle camp, where guests will sleep in individual tents. There are some storage facilities and also porters for hire, but generally luggage should be limited to whatever you can handle in your own backpack. Part of the trip involves a 1hr hike-in, with a required local guide to prevent getting lost in the forest.
